How our advice works
Advice is not free just because no money changes hands. Sometimes the cost is a recommendation shaped by a commission, a sponsor, or an upsell. Sometimes it is the time you lose following advice that was optimised for someone else’s outcome. Here is how TrueTalk is built, so you can judge it for yourself.
No commission for the decision
No commissions, no sponsors, no agenda. Just your best outcome.
TrueTalk does not take a commission to steer you toward a particular financial, real estate, career, or relationship outcome. There are no sponsored answers. The advice is designed to be on your side, not to turn your decision into someone else’s sale.
That removes one important conflict. It does not remove the need for judgment. No single source should decide a high-stakes matter for you. Use the guidance to clarify the question, inspect the assumptions, and decide which qualified person or human mentor belongs in the next conversation.
Who pays, and for what
People pay TrueTalk for access to the product — a subscription, priced openly on our pricing page. Nobody pays us to appear in an answer, and no answer is worth more to us than another. That is the whole of the business model, and it is deliberately dull: an advisor whose income does not move with your decision has nothing to gain from moving it.
The first step is a specialised advisor
TrueTalk starts with a specialised AI advisor matched to the decision in front of you. AI is the on-ramp, not the point of the product. The point is to make it easier to say what you are actually deciding when asking a person feels awkward, vulnerable, or like a burden.
You can start privately and without a waiting room. Give the advisor the context you are comfortable sharing, explain the outcome you want, and keep talking until the next question or next step is clear. This is the difference between a blank chat box and an advisor: the conversation has a decision, a domain, and continuity.
Where human mentorship fits
An AI advisor can help you get started, organise the decision, and prepare a better question. A human mentor brings human experience, perspective, and a relationship built around your situation. Those are different kinds of support, and neither replaces the other.
Start with the path that lets you move. When you want a human in your corner, step up to a human mentor with a clearer question and better context. The first step does not have to be the hardest one.
What we will not promise
We will not promise that every recommendation is perfect, or that one conversation settles a consequential decision. We will not tell you to trust any source blindly. We will be clear about the role of the advisor and the incentives around the product, so you can apply your own judgment and seek additional expertise where it belongs.
Trust is not a slogan. It is the combination of a visible incentive structure, a useful conversation, and the freedom to choose what happens next.
